Before the future of The DC Cinematic Universe slate was revealed, fans had already seen a version of the Suicide Squad in action in season 2 of The CW’s Arrow. The mystery thriller tells the tale of a Secret Service agent (Matt Dillon) who is involved in a car accident while attempting to locate two missing federal agents in small-town Idaho - and subsequently, finds himself trapped in a town where all is not quite as it seems.
The first trailer for Wayward Pines gave a bit too much away about the town, but luckily a new trailer for the Fox miniseries delivers all of the intrigue with fewer spoilers. The cast also includes Juliette Lewis, Toby Jones, Melissa Leo, Shannyn Sossaman, Carla Gugino, and Terrence Howard as the enigmatic Sheriff Pope. Not a bad line-up.

As one of the newest members of the Insurgent cast, one might assume that Octavia Spencer might have the most catching up to do in preparation for her role in the dystopian sequel, but it was quite the opposite.
